It is a matter of pride that United Nations has declared June 21st as “The International Day of Yoga” and the same is celebrated with vigor and enthusiasm, all around the world to spread awareness about the importance and effects of yoga on the health of people.

 

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s “International Yoga Day” will be celebrated on digital media platforms and there would be no mass gatherings as per the Government’s guidelines.

 

This year’s theme will be “Feel the Power of Yoga with Family” All students, teachers should celebrate virtually at 9 am on June 21, 2021. Various Yoga asanas can be performed like

 

  1. Matsyasana (Fish pose)
  2. Virasana (Hero pose)
  3. Suryanamaskar (Sun salutations)
  4. Bhramari pranayam (Bee breathing)
  5. Vajrasana (Diamond or thunderbolt pose) etc…

 

Also, All participating students must make short video as per the theme “Feel the Power of Yoga with Family” and share with class teacher of their respective classes latest bt 21st June 2021.

 

Class teachers are directed to submit 4 photos and two selected videos to the school admin group latest by 21st June 2021.
